Two councillors believe King’s Landing dock will be removed

Some wording in a staff report over King’s Landing wharf in North Bay has two councillors convinced the dock will be torn down.  Council voted 9-2 to do an environmental assessment on the wharf but the phrase naturalized water break concerns Mike Anthony and Mark King.

King says when you start talking about a water break, it means there’s no dock and Anthony is convinced the wording is an indicator the wharf will be decommissioned.  However Mac Bain says there are no plans to rip out the dock and the environmental assessment is the first of many steps to review the structure.
