School board wants input on policies

The policy on how school boards consolidate or close schools is being revised.  But before trustees make a final decision they want to know what the public thinks.

At the Near North District School Board level, parents are being asked for input on the student accommodation policy.  The board also wants comment on a second policy where groups work together to maximize the use of assets that the board owns.

Both draft policies are on the Near North website and people are asked to submit comments online by June 10th.   Trustees will consider the feedback at their June 28th meeting.
