The annual auction by North Bay police selling recovered stolen items, raised just more than $3,700. Up for grabs were things like tools, bikes and jewelry that the rightful owners never claimed after the theft. The police services board applies the money to North Bay charities and events. And the annual prescription drop off day in North Bay collected 100 pounds of drugs. Of that, 60 percent was un-used or expired medication.
