Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli says Premier Kathleen Wynne doesn’t tell the whole story when it comes to hospital cuts at the North Bay hospital.
Wynne says not to blame her Liberal government for the local healthcare cuts. She says the North Bay hospital will get an extra $2.3 million dollars.
Fedeli says while there’s some truth to the extra funding, the money being doled out nowadays is a lot less than past increases. Fedeli says they did increase the budget by one per cent, but traditionally the health budget increased six per cent for about as far back as you can go.
Fedeli says the cuts are the Liberal’s fault because they’ve chosen to underfund the local hospital.
