By-law Enforcement officer Ron Melnyk brought an amendment to City Council last night, to add four businesses to the list of workplaces with 9 meter smoke free entrances.
Those businesses are the Tim Hortons on Cassells Street, Dead City Studios at 160 Main St. West, the North East Community Care Access Centre on Devonshire Avenue, and Parker’s Independent Grocer.
The four new additions will be spot-checked by enforcement officers while on patrol, should the amendment pass.
The total payable fine for breaching the by-law is $180.
