The Ministry of Transportation has started work on a two phase project to rebuild Highway 17B, that won’t be finished until 2018.
Phase one is the relocation of the sewer service that is currently attached to the Duchesnay Creek Bridge.
Phase two will involve the replacement of the Duchesnay Creek Bridge, and the rebuilding of the highway resulting in a closure from May to October in 2018.
Traffic on Main Street West will be re-directed via Gormanville Road during the closure.
