North Bay’s largest shopping centre received some recognition this week. Northgate Shopping Centre won Silver at the 2016 Shopping Centre Awards in the Business to Business category. The award comes from the local shopping centre’s Back 2 School Campaign in 2015, which included a shopper selfie competition which the winner won a $1000 shopping spree.
The release says the cross-promotional strategy included an extensive media buy, a branded lounge and frosh week activities that delivered an astounding 752 per cent return on investment for its sponsor. The awards recognize Canada’s most innovative shopping centres for outstanding achievement across marketing, development and design, and retail store design categories.
