New investments are coming to North Bay thanks to the Northeast Local Health Integration Network to support people with dementia and their caregivers.
Funding for the North Bay Regional Health Centre will be used in the development of the North-East Behaviour Supports Ontario Aboriginal Strategy project.
14 long-term care homes in the Northeast will be receiving funding to cover professional development replacement wages, and new investments will also be going to the North Bay Alzheimer Society.
