The strike at St. Joseph’s Motherhouse has come to an end. The SEIU healthcare workers have come to terms with management, and settled on a 1.4 per cent wage increase.
That’s down from the 1.5 per cent raise they were seeking, but more than the 1.1 per cent management had initially offered. It was announced in a written release from SEIU Healthcare that members have overwhelmingly ratified a new collective agreement.
