The NDA High School Hockey Tournament was a great success, as the Chippewa Raiders won their first ever NDA High School gold medal. The tournament was in partnership with the North Bay Food Bank, and they were able get a small amount of food donations and $300.00 in financial donations.
After the bills to run this tournament were paid, and thanks to the overwhelming support of businesses throughout the city, Convenor Anthony Loreto will be writing a $1,000 cheque to give to the food bank. With unanimous support from the league’s managers and coaches, he felt it’s time to give back to the community.
