Powassan Voodoos put up double digits on Iroquois Falls in 38th win of the year

The Powassan Voodoos exploded for 10 goals in a 10-3 win over the visiting Iroquois Falls Eskis at the Powassan Sportsplex on Monday night. Austin Ramirez led the Voodoos attack scoring twice and adding two helpers in the one-sided victory. The Voodoos are back in action next Monday when they host the Kirkland Lake Gold Miners.

The latest CJHL rankings have also been released for the week. The Voodoos have slipped out of the top five, now sitting seventh overall. That’s despite their NOJHL leading 38 victories, 78 points overall and having won five of their last six games. Here’s the top ten for this week:
