The North Bay Police Service is warning the public that there is open water off the boat launch in Callander.
Police say they received a call from a local towing company this morning, who reported a vehicle went through the ice about 300 feet off the boat launch.
There is open water approximately nine-feet by-six-feet in area as a result. The public is advised to avoid the marked and sealed off area.
