On June 3rd, an event will take place at the water to mark the North Bay Heritage Gardeners 20th anniversary. Registered volunteers will go on a Chief Commanda II Cruise and there will be a shore lunch, with entertainment, at the waterfront. Everything gets underway at 10:00am.
They are looking to thank and recognize all of the volunteers that have worked hard to maintain the waterfront. The main focus of the group is to enhance the North Bay Waterfront and other approved locations.
North Bay Mayor Al McDonald will also be reading a proclamation at the event to proclaim that the week of May 29th to June 4th be known as “Heritage Gardeners Week”.
