Near North District School Board elementary schools will be hosting Welcome to Kindergarten orientation sessions for kids and their families over the next little while. It’s an opportunity for kids and families to connect with school teams, resource staff and community partners.
With continued sponsorship from The Learning Partnership, and in collaboration with Early Years community partners, Near North schools are able provide experiences and materials to nurture early learning for each preschool child and family at these upcoming events. Kindergarten in the Near North District School Board is a two-year program. The NNDSB wants to remind parents that schools are still accepting student registrations for September. Kids entering Junior Kindergarten must be 4 years old on or before December 31st and while kids entering Senior Kindergarten must be 5 years old.
