Vested Interest celebrates its 25th anniversary this week, and officials are inviting residents to come out and join them. Celebrations begin on Thursday July 27th and continue until Sunday July 30th. The celebration will take place at Vested Interest’s location in Callander at 1407 Main Street North. The festivities will begin at 4:00pm on Thursday with a champagne toasting and a free BBQ. Throughout the rest of the weekend there will be opportunities for the public to sample specialty food and shop the store wide sales. On Thursday, there will be 25% off all regular priced items which will switch to 10% off for the rest of the celebration.
Co-owner Jennifer McNutt Bywater says they have evolved from North Bay’s first street vendor to a retail destination store with a wholesale division distributing to over 2,000 stores across Canada. Bywater says the business and retail landscape has evolved over the years, but their mission has stayed the same. That their Fair Trade business will be a customer driven company which will serve their community and encourage their employees and associates to do likewise. She finished by saying their clients will receive excellence through quality products, service, and their positive attitude.
