North Bay City Council approved a request from Bayhome Property Inc., to convert eight existing unit apartments into condominium units. The approval was contingent on the transfer of a three-metre by three-metre parcel of land to the City for intersection improvements.

The property, located at 2418 Trout Lake Road, at the intersection with McKay received an exemption from submitting a draft approval of a plan of condominium process. This request was approved by council in January 2016.

In the staff report, it was deemed that the applicants had prepared a condominium agreement “to the satisfaction of City Staff.” The vote that approved the application was unanimous, and Coun. Mac Bain, who was absent.
