It looks like Bell and Rogers cell phone customers can expect things to get back to normal soon. Reps from both cellular providers say engineers have resolved the recent issues with call routing between service providers.
Tests with customers and other service providers have been completed to make sure all systems are working right. Rogers is still experiencing issues where calls are routed from their network to Bell’s landline and vice versa, but they’re working closely with them to get it resolved as quickly.
The connectivity issues had been affecting businesses throughout the city, as well the North Bay Regional Health Centre. An advisory sent out from the hospital earlier this week detailed how some users were having trouble getting through to any numbers at the hospital, including emergency or crisis numbers.
