Canadian Blood Services would like for North Bay and area blood donors to consider bringing a friend or family member with them to the next North Bay blood donor clinic at the Best Western on September 12 and 13. Potential donors invited to make an appointment today by booking online at www.blood.ca or by calling 1-888-2-DONATE.
According to the agency, “Making a blood donation helps ensure an adequate supply for those in need. For someone in need, your blood donation is the difference between life and death.”
Canadian Blood Services representatives are also expressing their gratitude on behalf of hospital patients to the residents of North Bay for their overwhelming support at this week’s North Bay Blood Donor Clinic.  The clinic collected 269 units of blood, thus saving many lives.
A special thank you from the Canadian Blood Services team to the first time donors who attended, as well. The staff and volunteers hope to see you all again soon.
