Investigators with the OPP say a collision between two transport trailers on Highway 11 North was the result of a southbound truck going into the opposite lane and crashing into a northbound rig. A female passenger in the northbound truck died at the scene while the man driving this vehicle had to be extricated and was seriously injured. The driver of the rig that went into the northbound lane received minor injuries.  The collision took place around 9:00am Friday between Marten River and Temagami.
