UPDATE: Highway 11 reopened at 10:45pm
Details are few, but if you are headed north on Highway 11 from North Bay, you might want to turn back.
The OPP is reporting that a large sinkhole has emerged on Highway 11 just south of Temagami, closing the highway in both directions.
Police say no detour is available for those approaching the sinkhole and no time is given for Highway 11 to reopen.
