Memorial Gardens open for people without water…

Around 140 houses in North Bay remain without water today because of frozen water lines. The city is asking homeowners and tenants to run a constant stream of water, about a pencil size in width, to prevent freezing. Crews worked all weekend to repair over 100 lines and will continue repairs this week.

Meanwhile…

Memorial Gardens is open to people with frozen water lines today. The arena’s shower and washroom facilities will be available between 8 this morning until 10 tonight. People without water are asked to bring their own towels and toiletries, and to check in with staff when they arrive.
