The Ministry of Natural Resources has charged someone for the unmarked gill nets that were left in Lake Nipissing last summer. In total, 13 abandoned nets full of hundreds of dead fish were found in the lake between June and August last year. The suspect has not been named, but the MNR says they’ve been charged with wasting fish and leaving decaying fish in the net.
