A North Bay couple has been found safe after going missing in British Columbia.
Fifty-nine-year-old Rick Moynan and 61-year-old Lynn Carmody went hiking in B.C.’s southern interior a week ago and never returned to their lodge. The couple built a shelter in the woods after realizing they were lost, and were finally found by rescuers yesterday afternoon.
Authorities say they were virtually unharmed, but were sent to hospital for assessment. A search crew of more than 300 people had been looking for them since last week.
