NDP candidate promises infrastructure funding for Ring of Fire

If elected, the NDP would invest $1-billion into infrastructure at the Ring of Fire over the next 20 years.

The NDP candidate for Nipissing-Timiskaming, Kathleen Jodouin, says she’s committed to sitting down with First Nation groups, northern communities, and the province to get things rolling at the chromite site. Jodouin says the Conservatives haven’t done enough to unlock the potential in jobs and mineral deposits at the Ring of Fire.

Election Day is October 19th. Jodouin is running against Green Candidate Nicole Peltier, Conservative Candidate Jay Aspin, and Liberal Candidate Anthony Rota.
