The Green Party candidate in Nipissing-Timiskaming supports the abolition of the New Veterans Charter.
Nicole Peltier says veterans are now receiving lump sum payments instead of life time benefits and it’s not enough. Peltier says many of these veterans are suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and deserve the full support of the Canadian government.
Peltier is running against Conservative candidate Jay Aspin, NDP candidate Kathleen Jodouin, and Liberal candidate Anthony Rota.
