A North Bay man has been charged for assaulting a police officer.
It’s alleged the man was very drunk outside a nightclub on Main Street East early Saturday morning. Police arrested him under the Liqour License Act. He resisted arrest and assaulted the police officers. He also threatened them when he got back to police headquarters.
The 27-year-old man faces five charges in total including uttering threats.
