Canadian Blood Services is implementing a waiting period for anyone who may have come into contact with the Zika Virus.
They are asking anyone who has traveled outside of Canada, the Continental US, or Europe to wait 21 days before donating blood. Northeast Territory Manager Joanne Drake says this is going to impact the number of eligible donors, and asking anyone traveling to give before you go.
