Hundreds gathering for Noah Strong Day Ball Hockey Tournament

46 teams are getting ready for the 3rd annual Noah Strong Day Ball Hockey Tournament this weekend.  

The event is taking place at the Bill Barber Complex in Callander, with a grand re-opening ceremony for the facility and a ceremonial ball drop taking place Saturday morning.  

Special guests include Bill Barber, Don (Butch) Turcotte and Darren Turcotte.  

Over 300 players, coaches and families are expected for the tournament, which includes live entertainment, activities and a silent auction.  

Four age categories of players, both boys and girls, are competing.  

They include U7, U9, U11, and U13. 

Named after Noah Dugas, Noah Strong supports communities through acts of kindness, selflessness, and resiliency.
