City man charged after copper wire thefts

The North Bay Police Service reports a 36-year-old city man is facing ten charges after a few incidents of copper wire being stolen.

Around 5 am on June 4, officers were conducting a property check at a North Bay business that had been the recent victim of copper wire thefts and located a person on the property.

An arrest was made, and a search resulted in police seizing break-in tools and a set of brass knuckles.

The accused remains in custody, pending a bail hearing.
