A ‘crustaceous’ mess in Bonfield has Ontario Provincial Police investigating.
North Bay OPP received calls on Tuesday about a large amount of lobster being disposed of off Highway 17.
Police are reminding people it’s illegal to litter or dump on the highway. Officials say it becomes a safety hazard by attracting various wildlife out of the forest and making their way onto the road.
Anyone with any information about the discarded lobster is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
