An 18-year-old city man is facing 11 charges including break and enter, along with firearms and drug-related counts.
The North Bay Police Service says around 10:30 pm on Saturday, a person was outside her home and spotted someone inside.
Police say she went in with a witness and an altercation took place, with the pair seizing a handgun that police say was in the suspect’s bag.
The man then fled the residence with officers arresting the accused a short distance away.
Police seized a revolver-style handgun loaded with blanks, suspected cocaine and pills.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
