City police say a road rage incident on Monday has led to five charges for a North Bay man, including assault and careless driving.
The North Bay Police Service says around 3pm two vehicles were driving in opposite directions on Premier Road when one turned around and followed the other.
Both drivers got out and a fight started before one got back in their vehicle but was followed by the other.
Police say the victim’s vehicle was struck and was driven off the road into a ditch near some children that were playing.
They say the victim was then pulled from their vehicle and assaulted.
Officers attended the area and arrested a 25-year-old man.
He was released on an undertaking with a September court appearance.
