A decline in home sales continued in July in our area.
The North Bay and Area Realtors Association says 108 units were sold through the MLS® System, down just over 12% from July last year.
A similar trend was seen in June while the nearly 600 homes sold through the first seven months of the year is down nearly 6% from the same period last year.
One area that’s up, by nearly 7%, is the year-to-date average price of a home.
It was nearly $467,000 through the first seven months of the year.
Dollar value was also on the rise with the $53.2 million value of all home sales last month up about 5% from July 2023.
The association says the number of active residential listings (308) hasn’t been this high in the month of July in five years.
