There is still time to nominate people for the Rotary Club of North Bay’s 2nd annual Unsung Hero Service Award.
The club says the award recognizes and honours individuals who have made a positive and substantive contribution to their community or workplace, and do not seek recognition.
Officials say that exemplifies Rotary’s “service above self” motto.
Nominees must be residents of North Bay and surrounding communities and be 18 years of age and older.
The deadline is Sept. 21.
Individuals selected will be designated as Paul Harris Fellows, the highest honour a Rotary Club can bestow on an individual, on Nov. 25.
