Three new bike lockers are now available downtown, providing secure, temporary storage for cyclists.
The City of North Bay installed the lockers behind the Transit Terminal on Oak Street with another two to be installed at Shabogesic Beach in the coming weeks.
“These new bike lockers, coupled with bike racks on City buses, make it easier than ever for residents and visitors to enjoy the Downtown Waterfront and surrounding areas,” states a release. “Cyclists can now conveniently secure their bikes while exploring local shops, dining, or spending the day at the beach, knowing their bicycles are safely stored.”
Once the installations are complete, all five bike lockers will be wrapped in public art.
