There are mixed results with the 604 job postings in August in Nipissing.
Year-over-year, the Labour Market Group says the figure is up 15.5%.
However, it’s down 5.6% compared to July.
297 employers posted jobs in August, an increase of more than 23% compared to August last year.
The top five include:
- North Bay Regional Health Centre
- Near North District School Board
- Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board
- Nipissing University
- Canadore College
Health Care and Social Assistance was the top hiring industry followed by Educational Services.
Retail Trade rounds out the top three.
