Close to 50 regional businesses are being showcased on the international stage this coming week.
The Northern Ontario Agri-Food Pavilion was officially opens Friday afternoon at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, with a ceremonial ribbon cutting.
FedNor says it marks over two decades of support for regional businesses taking part in the world’s largest combined indoor agricultural fair.
The fair runs November 1-10 in Toronto.
This summer over $700,000 in federal funding was announced to operate the pavilion and bring dozens of northern agri-food and services businesses to the annual event.
