Trout Lake Road will be down to two lanes in the 2600 block starting on Wednesday.
The city says the lane closures, between Giroux Street and Connaught Avenue are needed to prepare for a watermain liner installation.
“This project aims to improve the condition of an existing large-diameter watermain and extend its lifespan,” states a release.
Officials say an access pit will be created in the two eastbound lanes of Trout Lake Road.
They add traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction for approximately six weeks.
