City police have charged a 37-year-old Sudbury man after seizing a spring- activated “switch blade” style knife and over $18,000 worth of suspected drugs.

The North Bay Police Service says a person wanted on outstanding warrants was arrested in the area of O’Brien and Cassells streets last Thursday (Nov. 21).

A search led to suspected fentanyl, cocaine and morphine tablets being seized along with the prohibited weapon.

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
