Over $280,000 in suspected drugs are off the street in North Bay and three people are facing charges.
That from the North Bay Police Service, which says officers responded to reports of a physical altercation and disturbance at a city residence around 11 pm on November 19.
Police say once inside they saw illegal drugs and arrested the trio.
A search warrant was executed the next day and yielded:
- Approximately 565 grams of suspected fentanyl
- Approximately 630 grams of suspected cocaine
- Approximately 649 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine
- A set of brass knuckles
A 43-year-old male, a 35-year-old female, and a 17-year-old female all face drug trafficking charges, along with possession of an unauthorized weapon. No names are being released, with police citing the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
