Update (10 pm) The OPP says the south bound lanes of Highway 11 between Orillia and Huntsville reopened Monday night around 10 pm.

Update (10:30 am) The OPP says the northbound lanes of Highway 11 between Orillia and Huntsville are expected to be reopen around noon Monday (Dec. 2), although some exits may still be closed. The southbound lanes from Huntsville to Orillia are expected to reopen later in the day.
Update : Highway 11 NB at West St. Orillia is expected to reopen at 12:00 and Highway 11 SB is expected to reopen from Highway 60 in Huntsville later in the afternoon. The clean-up continues in Muskoka after this weekend’s dumping of snow.
Ontario Provincial Police reports all lanes of Highway 11 are closed from Huntsville to Orillia.
Central Region OPP say all vehicles have been cleared from the highway and crews are now working to clear the snow that has accumulated over the past couple of days.
The Weather Network says some areas received upwards of a metre of snow.
Hydro One reported over 25,000 customers were still without power early Monday, with an estimated restoration time of noon Tuesday.
The utility says crews from other parts of the province, along with contractors, are all helping with restoration efforts after the snow started blanketing the area on Friday.
A state of emergency was also declared in Gravenhurst.
