(Update 10:30 am) Some area residents may still be without power. As of mid-morning, Hydro One reports over 3,000 customers south of Powassan to the Sundridge area and west to Port Loring are impacted by an outage.
(Update 7:30 am) There are some reports the power has been restored in some areas.
At last check, Hydro One is reporting over 9,400 are impacted by a couple of power outages in the region.
One earlier stretched from Marten River to South River and from Sturgeon Falls to East Ferris, and included the southshore of Lake Nipissing.
Crews have been dispatched.
There’s no cause listed at this point and the estimated restoration time is 10 am.
