The City of North Bay says it does not send text messages about parking violations.
Officials are warning residents about a text message scam related to parking infractions that’s going around, with some people reporting they’ve received fraudulent texts and emails.
They say don’t click any links if you receive one of the scam messages.
The city also says you can check the status of a ticket by contacting the Customer Service Centre at 705-474-0400.
