The Superintendent of Education at the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board (NPSC) is being recognized for her leadership.
Jody Weller has been named the 2025 recipient of the Nelson Excellence in Leadership Award by the Ontario Catholic Supervisory Officers’ Association.
Officials say the award recognizes her exemplary contributions to Indigenous Education at the local, provincial, and national levels.
“We are incredibly excited and proud that Jody Weller is being recognized,” says Paula Mann, Director of Education. “Jody’s thoughtful leadership and service-oriented approach as a Catholic Supervisory Officer has had an indelible impact on shaping our Indigenous Education programs and services, not only at NPSC but provincially as well.
Weller will be honoured in May at the association’s conference and AGM in Windsor.
