Undercover investigation leads to dozens of drug-related charges

Ten people are facing dozens of charges and two more are being sought by city police after a drug trafficking investigation.  

The North Bay Police Service says more than $92,000 worth of suspected drugs, including suspected crack cocaine, crystal meth, fentanyl, cocaine and various pills were seized.  

Officials say the undercover investigation, supported by the Criminal Intelligence Service Ontario, began in 2024 and resulted in arrests being made between Jan. 30 and Feb. 4, 2025.  

Nine of the people arrested are from North Bay and vary in age from 25 to 56.   

A 39-year-old Callander resident has also been arrested.  

Over 60 charges have been filed, including drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, producing a scheduled substance and more.  

Police say two women facing charges remain outstanding.
