Upgrades on a section of Premier Road are underway.
Construction, which includes the installation of new sidewalks, is happening from Fowler St. to Champlain Park.
The city says the contractor will begin pulverizing the existing roadway this week, adding the current pavement will be grinded down and repurposed to form the base of the new sidewalks.
The work, which also includes the installation of storm drainage ditches and more, is tentatively scheduled to wrap up in late October.
Officials say one lane of traffic will be maintained for local access, with possible temporary delays.
