The West Ferris Car Show is back on Saturday.
Nearly 200 vehicles took part last year, and officials with the West Ferris Secondary School event are optimistic they’ll have more this year.
30 trophies made by construction and manufacturing students are up for grabs.
The event is a fundraiser for new tools and equipment for the school’s technology classes while also engaging students in a hands-on learning experience.
The event also includes a BBQ, penny sale, Hot Wheels race, face painting, along with nail painting and hand massages from the esthetics class.
Silent auction items include a six-seater picnic table made by West Ferris construction students; and two donated, hand-made car-themed quilts.
Attendance is free.
Donations to the North Bay Food Bank will also be accepted.
