The North Bay Police Service Board has appointed Inspector Jeff Warner as Acting Deputy Chief, effective Monday.
A city resident for about 35 years, Warner has been a member of the police service for the past 28 years, having served in patrol operations, criminal investigations and the Emergency Response Team for 10 years.
Most recently, he has served as an inspector overseeing all patrol operations and emergency response.
“Inspector Warner is a well-respected member of this organization,” says Chief Daryl Longworth. “Having worked with him over the past year on a number of projects, I have come to appreciate the many strengths that he brings to the table. I look forward to working with him as we continue to look towards continuous improvement as a police service and in serving the community”.
Warner thanks both the police services board and Chief Longworth for having confidence in him.
“I look forward to continuing our efforts in moving forward as a progressive and responsive police service and providing ongoing support to our members for the hard work they do on a daily basis,” says Warner.
