Here’s a chance to take an up-close look at real airport equipment, some airplanes, and more.
The North Bay Aviation Expo runs from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday at Jack Garland Airport and the surrounding industrial park.
A variety of tours are set up, including the runway and airport tower, Canadore College Aviation Campus, the Ministry of Natural Resources hanger and Voyageur Aviation.
Activities include a carboard aircraft race, costume and colouring contests, and much more.
The Canadian Forces Museum of Aerospace Defence is also offering free admission on Saturday.
Officials say there is free parking at the airport for the expo.
They add the COPA free discovery flights are fully booked.
A drive-in movie is also taking place at night, with the cost $25 per vehicle and online pre-registration required.
