A new report shows 96% of Nipissing University nursing graduates passed their registration exams on their first attempt.
The university says that surpasses the provincial average and affirms Nipissing’s reputation for excellence.
They say the figures included in the 2024 Nursing Registration Exams Report from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), highlight Nipissing as a top performer provincially.
“This achievement reflects the incredible dedication of our students and the supportive learning environment fostered by our expert faculty,” says Dr. Ann-Barbara Graff, Provost and Vice-President Academic. “It speaks to our commitment to academic excellence, student success, and producing nursing professionals who are prepared to lead with compassion and confidence.”
Dr. Karey McCullough, Interim Associate Dean of the School of Nursing says the results represent more than academic success; they reflect the real-world readiness of Nipissing’s graduates.
“We take pride in preparing students who are not only clinically proficient, but also empathetic, ethical, and committed to improving patient care,” says Dr. McCullough.
